What are you working on?

hahahahah is that what the wooden shoe and beeper are :hmmm:

there were plenty of times i considered making the same thing while building the lloyd....and still plan on making a set just havnt needed them "yet"...but i have nestled a jack stand into a wheel dolley a few times lol

Thrashingcows...love the desoto I'd love to have one! I sold my 54 Chrysler about a year ago kinda miss the big family barge!! But I have my eye on a 48 Saratoga with all the dash chrome and crystal column shift knob! Uptown !!! Lol

stretch... I noticed the goat in the pic... I was stayin quiet,... Trying not to spread anything about you being with goats!! Lol
actually I've always liked the 70 judge it would be on the very short list of gm cars I'd like to have! I'm working on a friends 70 judge right now , been searching for parts! Car is a nice lower level show car he's wanting to put disk brakes on it which I have lined out but what I'm looking for is a factory air box and dash/ vents to convert it to an ac car were going with a full auto air system under the hood but the dash and air box? ... Got any Leeds your way?

You'll have to change/modify the firewall to add AC if memory serves. I can't think of any cars in this area offhand, but Stretch knows more GM guys because of his work and through his Dad.

I can't think of any off of the top of my head. My dad has a buddy who is a pontiac nut. I'll check with Jeff next time I see him.

Why not look into an aftermarket A/C & Heat/Def unit. Some one like classic air, or others, have units in all shapes and sizes to fit the cavity under the dash. This is what I'm going to be putting into the Desoto when I get to that point. I'll be pulling out and tossing the DUAL HEATERS!!...then figuring out dimensions and then going with one single heat & A/C unit.

That would b cool but he wants to at least put the vents in the stock location I've been talking to him about going the way you said for the fact it's not going to be original and if he ever sells it the after market under the dash unit could b changed back easier! Funny my cuda has all the factory ac and works! But I'd love to have it all off I never use it! And it never looks good no matter what you do to it! The big v- twin compressor takes up all the motor view! Lol but can't remove it it's all there! Just the same! Grr!

You know what he/you should do...is call these A/C companies and request a catalog or two. I did this years ago and I can assure you that they location of the heat/def/ and A/C locations on the under dash units varies as well. So there is every likelihood that you could make something work with a little back yard engineering.

this thing..for a guy in CO who wanted a rush job for his WIFES bike..same bike as mine soo..yeah..its a side job

Lookin good! I had my doubts at first thinking it was to big and boxy but after you added the seat wings and all it getting better and better! keep the pics comming! I'm doing a tune up on a dyna today and working on the family wagon , I'll snap some pics even tho it's boreing lol

That rack turned out cool! that thing could haul two twelve packs or a small heard of swine in china! good work!

I got the oil changed in the dana/tune-up check for a guy pic one ..then got a cool chopper in that needs a rear drive belt usually arent that bad being right side drive but you still have to mess with the swingarm/motor mounts and exhaust ....pic 2&3 cool paint job! not one of mine but nice for a production bike!

Found out today the the casters I had bought for my homemade jack dollies :D are well..... too damn tall  and made for some of the most unstable down right awfully dangerous OSHA violating nightmares you could possibly imagine. :D

Back to Princess Auto I go in search of something different.

Fab up some drop tabs and mount the casters outside of the jack stand plate. Yah they will be wider but low and wide = stable!

Exactly.

Something along the lines of this concept, but in steel
