We are upgraded

Board remembers me at home (Firefox 3.6 w/NoScript, TACO and Adblock), but not at work(IE 6){eek}.
And I get the funny hidden header at home.
I'll clean the work pc and try there tomorrow.
 
It won't hold my style, won't remember me, won't give me icons to show me new replies to threads, and tells my I don't have permission to view this page every time I log myself into the site. We may be keeping up with the times, but "upgrade" is an incorrect term. I'll go find the threads I remember so I can respond to them, but beyond that it's way too much work, and the eye strain for the primary style is more than I can take for more than a couple of minutes.
 
Try clearing out your cookies.

Check out the new style I just added called vBulletin 4.0 Kier's Style and see if that's any better on the eyes. I think it is.
 
I tweaked the cookie settings. Some may need to do a hard refresh - hold the CTRL key and hit refresh - or however you browser does that.

but it should stick now. Let me know.
 
I could get used to the black and blue theme (blue pixels)
It renders some buttons unreadable, at least in the file manager. Some you can hover, some not.

Simple fix or no?

And after grabbing these shots I can "feel" my way around the manager, no problem :)

Well the hard refresh thingy worked as far as making it easier to look at with the black carbon fiber looking stuff but I'm still having that same issue that I posted a pic of.......the squished stuff at the top by the Home/ Forum/ Blogs/ What's New tabs. Not trying to be a pain in the ass I swear lol just bringing stuff to your attention. :) :bravo:

For the squishiness: do you see the Moparnuts logo?

With that missing, the header section will compress down... That background isn't really one big image - it's more like a really small one repeated as required - that's what makes it look blue, or black or whatever the case may be.
Without the logo, it doesn't need to repeat to fill in the space.

Make sense?

Now, why isn't the logo showing up for you? F@&K if I know. :D
Honestly. It' snot a secret file or anything. I'll keep poking at it, but so far, you're the only one.

As for the cookie issue - I think it is fixed as I have been logged on as my test account all day and haven't been booted.
 
I see no Moparnuts logo either...still seeing the same thing as the screen print I posted up earlier.

Ok the link for the logo shows up when I quote you but not when I look at the original quote lol. Being that I am the only one, I wonder if it is a Firefox issue? Hmm I'll look into it and drag 69.5 in for some help on that front.
 
Weird when I post your quote I don't see this link either....I only see it once I hit 'Reply With Quote'.... Yeah I think it may be an issue on my end....like I said I'll have 69.5 help me look into it.

I posted it as a regular user. So, I know it's not my admin right s kicking in. However, I'll go double check..

Man, if I knew what was going on, I'd tell ya. but if I don't see it, I can't begin to guess why it might be happening.

I haven't looked into it yet but I don't see squat! hahaha. I'll work on fixing my end later. 'Til then, I'll deal and quit bitchin about it! :D
