Why...???...:confused:....they're noisy, uncomfortable, they'll shake your teeth out and you have to work on it three days a week just to make it thru the weekend. :dgt:

A little Harley trivia, the right hand grip is not a throttle, it's a volume control. The more you twist it the louder it gets.....that's all. :D

If you want to own a Harley you either have to learn how to repair it yourself or have a fat checkbook. :doh:

A couple of years ago I got one of these for my daughter to ride;

It's an 86 Honda VT500 Shadow, liquid cooled 500cc V-twin with a 6 spd and shaft drive. An unbelievable bike, 48 hp and it will go 72 mpg. (That's US gallons) It will cruise all day long at 80 mph easily. And it weighs about 400 lbs. Perfect for women. :cool:

A quick joke in honour of Harley's and Friday the thirteenth which is a big biker holiday this close to Port Dover.

What is the difference between a Harley and a vacuum cleaner? The position of the Dirtbag! hahaha

Just a little fun don't hate on me. I work with a lot of great bike fans.

....:hmmm: please tell me, do you want your spanking from mr. right or mr.left ? [smilie=2:

if i HAD to have a "cruiser" it would likely be a shadow or something similar...but these sport tourers are sooooo much fun and road forgiving at the same time...i can flick em around and have ALOT of fun..all the while soaking up a couple hundred miles of interstate without wearing me out or droneing my ears

i guess for you its a ""been there, done that" thing but, i havent been there and havent done that HD thing
so prob. we,ll talk again later. :xl:

Wait untill you guys see whats up next. Resto.... You'er going to love it! We'll see who can I.D. it first. Only hint. There is only 5 known to still exist. I'm not doing the body or paint. Just the mechanical work. Pics coming soon....

I'm getting ready to start on what may be the ugliest engine build of all time. If there's a way to cut corners on this 360, I'm going to find it. :dance:

Hmmmm....
No idea what it is, but it sure does look to be in really, super nice shape! I'd LOVE to see a lot more pics.

Delco-Remy starter and wooden artillery wheels, fabric roof and a six cylinder...

My first thought was a Chrysler product, maybe a Dodge Brothers???

What are you going to be doing on it, you lucky guy? :)
