What are you working on?

I was thinking the same thing, and they've never built a unibody 'Vette, ever.

And as long as they're constructed of fiberglass/SMC, they never will.

The newer models are soooo much stronger than the old ones. THAT is the reason the new ones handles soooo much better than the old ones.

Hmm... I'm a little sheepish to admit I've been working on my little 1990 Suzuki/Chevy Tracker. After 22 years, a little maintenance is well-deserved. Replaced all the (22 year old) coolant hoses, bled the brakes for fresh brake fluid, pulled the steering wheel to lube a squeaky horn contact button, replaced a few leaky capacitors on the cpu circuit board, replaced spark plugs, slotted the front struts with a dremel to correct camber (after 2" lift), and currently replacing the rear brake shoes and hardware. Front pads and wheel bearings are next, then possibly shop for some new tires. It has a 2" suspension lift, so 29" tires will fit without issue. Also have new U-joints to go in.

Basically want it to be in tip-top shape for winter, and all 3 days of snow Vancouver will get :)

Don't be sheepish about it... those things are a hoot in the woods, especially with a little lift and some good tires. They're perfect proof that gearing is everything and you don't need 300HP to have fun in an off-roader.

So, are you going to paint it brown and call it the "Fudge Tracker"? I would. :D

:D perfect! But I was contemplating painting it yellow and applying black "TONKA" stickers on it. My 4 year old nephew would love it.

After replacing all the hoses, I found one heater hose leaking at the heater core connection. The clamp is tight, but I know it was kind of squished when installed. Hope I didn't cause the heater core to leak :(

Spent today moving snow. :doubt:

For some sick reason, I really miss that weather. Not sure why. Maybe the fact a friend of mine had a few snowmobiles might have something to do with it. :shifty:

I used to have a remote starter... the LeBaron was in the garage, and the starter was lying on my front porch.

:bwuhaha:"Ain't no rest for the wicked..."

Pulled the trans out of this for my sister-in-law this weekend. I need a lift, and organize my garage. Nothing worse than throwing a temper tantrum when you can't find tools. :bwuhaha::bwuhaha:
