the jig is FINISHED full welded the millano is FULL leveled and all jig to frame supports are welded and everything is square within 1/16th...is also level across and diagnal within .020
now for my own bit of thinking above and beyond.....a limo or herse company doent need to worry about the suspension changeing as they are installing heavyer springs that are already expected to set the suspension to exactly what they want as they are ADDING to the car not removeing...
soo what i did is wld up braces that touch the car where i plan to weld it to the jig up front and to the sliders in the back...what i didnt do is weld the car to the supports as im going to strip the car down to the bare esscentials without cutting and then measure how much the body rises on the jig then shim and weld it in place chop my section out and weld the car back together....the idea here is i will be able to caculate EXACTLY how much the body has risen from stock and be able to tell at any given time if i need to re-adjust the suspension to compensate..even when the lloyd is completly finished i will be able to know if i need to dial the T-bars or cut a coil in the back to bring the car within specs
