tiny...aka 1958 lloyd

well there is no roof on it atm..its up in the rafters..thats the hood on thetop of the car atm

as for the suspension...ive been clearing out stuff and trying to clear a path from the front yard to the shop out back so i can move the milano into position for a slow cut-up ....waiting on some plasmacutter parts and ill be snapin more pic's

the tail light plates are done..as well as the nail boards but i need to find a slow small 12v motor to drivethe nail boards.............it just hit me..a old stomper motor and the guts from a slot car controler to control the speed

......but i need to find a slow small 12v motor to drivethe nail boards.............

AMC's from the 60's & 70's used a windshield washer pump motor very similar to Mopars, 'cept they were mounted to a plastic bag instead of a bottle.

For a speed regulator use a switch for a variable speed wiper.

hmmmm any old wiper washer motor should work then...ive got piles of em lol

not sure a variable speed switch is going to get my slow enuf...looking to go as low as 60rpm

No, I looked at the pics, just couldn't see how they worked. Even going back and looking again I guess I still don't get it.:doh::o Just post a clip when they do work. Like jodaddys ultra cool headlight clip. :)

ill probably make a hand driven clip..tomaro........i need to see what i can come up with for a true veriable speed setup

An easy way to slow it down is to cut the voltage. An ignition resistor will cut voltage to 9.5.;)

well im sidelined on the tail lights atm due to lack of torque at slow speeds for the nailboard driver...but a friend of mine poped his head out and said he's working on my digital driver :giggedy:

anyway did me some dash work and its now freestanding and mounted and well supported...being a suicide door car eventualy someones going to put there weight to it getting in or out so its WELL supported...sure its far from "finished" but the ruff shape and lines are there...not sure how im blending the lines to the doors just yet

the basic shape was takeing from alot of 50's styles that i liked and couldnt make up my mind on..so i let the lloyd speak to me while refering to the shape of my 58 ford dash

yup your wrong..flip back to the pic of me in the car..ive not move the firewall at all..but i have moved the seats WAY back..the current firewall does sit a bit into the engine bay but i think i may bring it back tward the driver about 6 inches to improve where the pedals will sit..and to take the wheel wells out of the interior area

I mean the front fender wells digging that deep into the pass comp. Maybe it's just the shape of 'em.

ahh yeah they do dig in pretty deep but the engine bay is actualy bigger than it looks..you could fit a v8 in there without pullys or a radiator or room to bolt up a tranny

got more dahs work done and a lil patch work on that ruff passenger door....god i forgot how much i hate "sticitching" sheetmetal

also i think i finaly got my insperation for how to do the merc style grill area that i wanted and have it look like the car was built that way

kinda bummed....the dash realy doesnt show its true shape in the pic's..maybe it will once i start primeing

The arch at the windshield is very noticeable in the pics, hard to grasp the extent of it because of the size. but it is looking good so far.

heres the ruff look for the grill area im leaning for...obviousely welded to the body and filler blended..notice how well the lower fender lip roll matches it......the edge faceing the engine compartment will get a flat pannel added to give the grill some depth

boredom and the inability to get any sleep and too late to make any real noise..i dug into the tail light houseings a bit and got one more or less finished..need to get the seals and stuff made as well as glue in the LED's but the houseing itself is finished and YES you see deep gouges in my polish work...thats cause those areas cant be seen once its mounted...all of the visable surfaces when mounted are polished to a mirror shine

yup i took more pic's than needed lol
