Rusty's not very quiet cuda progress

been thinkin about another nuts nats east, but so much crap going on with the family it's hard to plan even a week at a time!
interior could be in in a couple of hours with some help, I figure I have a few days work(15 mins a day) to get it done!

Put the pass seat together & got that in, pass door panel on & made my little extension for the rear deck, lets just say at least it's black:naughty: Console is in (& the door rattles like a ..... problems on the drivers side, 2 cars & all I could come up with was 4 clips so I need door panel clips & mirror control benzels to do the drivers side, found & ordered the clips, still searching for the mirror parts, I know as soon as I buy em they will magically reappear, but I will need another set for the 74 ! :toot:
Now that I see how much that heater box shows gonna hafta do somethin there too!:( Rich.

I've got bags of door panel clips. Show me a pic of the style and I've probably got more than enough for a couple of cars. :toot:

Ordered 20 eariler today, guess I should have waited a while, appreciate the help, you wouldn't have the mirror hardware would ya? Rich.

I've got a box full of mirrors, but I wouldn't know what I'm lookong for.

Mirror bezel is ordered, almost didn't cause the turd charged 10 bucks shipping :( but it also had the retainer, so I figger I paid 7 or 8 bucks for that! :toot:
Got my good ole manual squirters in today & they actually work, got the inside hood release hooked up & removed the one under the grill, worked on cleaning up the old glass, lots of chips & scratches but there clean now!
Still waitin on hagerty to see if the car port storage will fly?
got gomo's upper seat belts cleaned up,thanks mann material is great,no fade or wear, my chrome is slightly better but belts are faded bad, so I'll do my best with the chrome & get those hung this week, she's about ready to roll out, I'm almost lookin foward to this! [smilie=2: Rich.

Glad those belts are working out for you. :)

Maybe there's someone out there that could restitch the webbing onto the better metal? Just a thought.

BTW: You're cuda's looking great!

Good news rear speaker came today!
Bad news no insurance yet, both hagerty & grundy won't insure unless garage kept, now I see thier point but this ain't a million dollar car, someone out there has to have a policy without a garage! :( Rich.

Don't tell 'em.:shifty:

Yes I do, but I work out of it & the car would have to be moved almost every day, when I get units in the car won't fit, so bassically till i hit the lottery(cause I'll never be able to just retire) the car can not be in there!

Build a attachment to the garage so you can put theunits in it and the car in the main garage. Doesn't have to be expensive, just enough to keep the units locked and dry.

I know a few guys who insure their classics using regular full coverage insurance for the same reason.
You don't get the benefit of having an agreed value policy but they do get to drive them.
After 10 years I don't think I'd risk it with your car though. An old driver maybe but you've got way too much blood sweat and tears in the not very quiet 'cuda. :)

First, no more buildings on my property, I'm maxed out on groung coverage.
2nd, I like nothing more than having it in a garage, but rentals around here go 200 a month, so thats out of the question, gotta get away from NY city, to costly here for everything!
3rd, I'll only go reg ins if I run out of choices, there's a few pages of co's to check out, maybe I'll hit one with a don't ask don't tell policy!:naughty: Rich
Hmmm no pics on this page, lookout!
O yea got my door clips today, so mirror bezel is the last holdout!

What am I doing wrong, I can't get the rear seats to look right!
upper is bottomed out on the top hook & screws are in at the botom, lower is in the thingy where you push down & slide foward.
if I remove the seat belt retractor I can get the lower seat BEHIND the floor bracket & it does seem to hook in back there, the gap is almost gone, tried the retractors in every way they could possibly go(I think?)
from the back window you can see the top seam on the seat, lower lines up pretty good with the side panals as it sits now(IN the floor bracket)
Here's some pics, fix me up would yas! :hmmm: Rich.
