First one that kicks back 2 pints a blood & 25K :toot: Rich.
Starting the other may be sooner than i was planning if I don't have the interior money I may start tearing down the 74. Rich.
looks like I either have to replace the whole rear bumper setup or just paint the 73 bumper for now, seems they added another reinforcement in 74 & changed the location of the bumper bolts!
I guess I could have this blasted & use it for now, the chrome bumper really isn't that good anyway, i'll mull it over a while, maybe i'll hit the lottery in the meantime & buy new!
Holy hell!!! I just read this entire thread (took me all friggin day) and I must say I'm very happy for you! That car looks awesome! You've really done a remarkable job and it has really inspired me to start tearing down my 75 Duster... It's a rust bucket and i'll have to do everything that you did. I plan on using this thread as a walk through. All of the tips and tricks shared makes me feel like i'm already an expert even though i've never touched bodywork.
Thanks my friend.. I need to save up some $$ before I can really get started.. fortunately the bodywork will cost less than the motor.. :liar:
I hope that I'll be able to have similar results! you've done a great job.. Perhaps someone will actually like the 75 duster when I'm done. It seems like I'll have one of the only really nice 360 4spds...
Thanks greg for helping me try & line up those windows & put the new front yolk in, besides the little downpour & 19 hours on that door glass I think we did ok! :shifty:
Not by a long shot, front & rear glass still has to be redone, interior is basicly untouched & i have no money to buy the stuff for the interior! Rich.
Gettin close to sledge hammer time!!!!!!!!!
So WTF do I do with this!
went to clean out the threads for the mirrors & the nutsert started spinning. ?????????????????????
