That's quite probable, I don't remember specifically what you posted. Not coincidentally, that's why I didn't call anyone specific out.

As for "skeet skeet", lemme see how to explain that...it's a slang term for male ejaculation.
 
I think I've been around this forum long enough--and I joined in the first day or two--to honestly say that had anyone other than Jamie posted something such as what it appears he posted, they would have been equally skewered.

Seems to me I got roasted on a spit involving crankshaft journals by one MartyB, and as it turned out, he was correct. I started an entirely new thread with a public apology to him for being inflammatory and arguing about how GM's factory cranks were cut. I guess it could have been a backhanded insult since he'd outdone me on GM knowledge. :D

I dunno... maybe those of us that bash this kid are either jealous of, or irritated by, the coddling and spoiling that have influenced him to think he's some sort of master mechanic. Besides, he's not clever enough to pull off the kind of post I gather he'd made in a humorous manner, nor would he have tried. His deletion of the original post is evidence enough of that... had he been joking, he'd have been posting, "Whoa, fellas--I was f__king around. No real brake tech would do such a thing!" rather than deleting the post and hiding under his rusty trash while Mom stands guard with a tire iron.

No offense meant, but this guy's not a rocket surgeon. He thinks "sarcasm" is how he messes his socks without using his feet, "subtle" is what his forebears did on the land he now inhabits, and "tact" is what he did when he posted a message saying he'll overpay for any rusty POS Chrysler to the bulletin board at the fish market.

Stretchy is out of the spring gig, XL, but he may still have connections. As far as his brake work... well, he put the "brake" in coffee break. Still waiting for a reschedule on on of our parts trucks to install a rear ABS sensor. Seems he sneezed once and had to take a week off. :D
 
Well I posted a Rebuttal but apparently it didnt get posted.

Lighten up guys, I wasnt referring to the good comptent techs that are out there and yes I know quite a few.

This Truck was NOT a JY truck. My Buddys GRANDMOTHER owned it and drove it before it spun a bearing, they brought it down here and I traded into it. My buddy told me that she had a lot of work done to it, and yes most likely in a shop because I dont think she is competent enough to work on it herself.

So dont automatically assume my stuff is from a JY. In fact I only have TWO JY refugees out here and I bought them knowing they had problems. My '74 Monaco came from a 'yard that also had a used car biz on the side, so it dont count. It ran and drove when I got it, needing nothing but a radiator.

My Two Refugees are my '78 Aspen R/T and my '84 Ramcharger 2wd. Aspen has a blown trans and the RC had another blown trans and a bad-running motor. But again I bought em knowing they werent driveable and had issues.

So in conclusion, lighten up fellas!
