Got the "J" bars all fitted and finished welded into place.

Seat belt tabs all done.

Passenger door bars mocked up and ready for spacer bars.

Just have to finish weld the passenger side door bars and the cage is complete! :giggedy:

The cage is now complete and all gussets have been added. Just have to add the anti penetration plate to the drivers door bars and it will be completely finished.

Got the anti penetration plate mocked up and installed, just need to get more shielding gas for the welder and finish weld it in place. It's made out of 1/8" steel and there is a small triangle piece to put in yet under the leg bar.

Got started on the header panel I wanted to make up since the only one I have for this car is the one piece fiberglass one and it will just get destroyed.

So taking the idea from Jodaddy I decided to make one out of light steel.

Coming along nicely, just needs finish welding and sheeting.

Also got the rear fuel cell guard support bars mocked up and ready for welding.

"Dipsy Doodle" is in no way demeaning or an insult, just so you know. It's actually quite a compliment... I don't know how it came to be known as that, but it's the most-feared ski run within about a 50-mile radius. It's short--maybe 350-400 yards--but it's pure evil, and it's technically not even part of the ski hill. "SKI AT YOUR OWN RISK".

Fuel cell guard is finished and rear bumper is reinstalled awaiting the gap guards.

I have the rubber rear corners to go back on and will just sheet the tail with aluminum like what Myrtle has only neater.

Now there is some wishful thinking.

Trimmed and riveted the rubber corners together. They were held to the plastic backing with staples.

Finished up the mounting for the tail panel.

Here is the tail panel, It will be riveted down once the back of the car is painted.

Finally finished the armor plating.

Stripped the door panels completely and started mocking up the mounting tabs. The door panels will be riveted on as well.
