Ordered up a 750 Eddy carb, headers and "mufflers" for her today! :giggedy:

This is true, but this same subject has come up in the past with lackluster results, so what is your reason from reliving such a fond old memory my dear boy. :shifty:

So I pulled the intake off the virgin numbers matching 360 in my New Yorker today and almost finished reinstalling my goodies untill I found out I need that stupid little piece for Chrysler linkage on my Eddy carb. :doh:
One DAMN clean engine though, freakin spotless!
Here's where I got to at the end of the day.
Oh BTW, you know when installing headers on a column shift car you have to flip the shifter Z-bar linkage mounting tabs 180* to relocate the Z-bar above the torsion bar.........
yeah......
That was a fun 3 hours to get the damn shifter linkage working again. :doh:

Havn't run her yet. 
She ran horribly with the the gummed up 2bbl so just about anything will be an improvement.

Got her all buttoned back up today!

That 750 Eddy needs a little fine tuning but other then that I've turned that stalling sputtery boat into a big loud mint green rocket.
And the best part of all!

New Pipes!
Got my new exhaust put on her today, sounds pretty good, it's actually much louder then my truck.
I was $350 for 2.5" duals from the headers back with a set of Cherry Bombs thrown in backwards.
She runs real nice and I still have no leaks! :giggedy:
