Nope that's one of my little handyman tricks.

Whenever I have to drill a hole in a wall in the house, I tape that bag underneath where I'm drilling to catch all of the plaster and sawdust.

No cleanup afterwards and I can re-use the bag over and over again.

Yup - that's the plan. Less chance of gouging the paint that way.
