What are you listening to right now?

Angels singing...

I have no idea what they're singing - my Mom and her family all had the Gaelic, but I don't :( - but it sounds great nevertheless.

The musicians that usually accompany Angels singing.

It's a Cape Breton thing... unless you like excellent fiddle playing.

Two of the best Cape Breton fiddle players and a catchy tune. If your feet don't move, you're dead or comatose. :)

I'm listening to a group I feel is one of the most technically-excellent bands, if not the most, of all time: Dream Theater. They're not normally my style, but I love everything I've heard. This was their most commercially-successful song, though I'm a little more partial to Peruvian Skies and Anna Lee, both of which came from "Falling Into Infinity" (not considered their best album).

Tell me again how Jimmy Page was overrated... this was 1969, and while recorded in a studio it was the band playing as if they were live. Good stuff, and I really dig Page's stringwork.

Steely Dan Aja... the way it's supposed to be heard. On vinyl through a tube amp and big stereo speakers.

Hell yeah... watch the 1969 concert at the Albert Hall and tell me they weren't some sort of alien with a wonderful musical brain controlling 4 bodies. That's the tightest live performance I've ever heard anywhere.
