What are you listening to right now?

Skid Row - Get the Fuck Out.

The morning's coming,
and this is my bed...
If I find you here when I wake up,
The maid is gonna find me dead.

The lyrics to this song are so incredibly bad... but I enjoy the heck out of it.

I think that last line is "... the maid is gonna find YOU dead..." still funny.

listening to irish wedding song right now

Checked the liner notes on that one, and I did post the lyrics correctly.

Apparently, as un-PC as the song is, they felt it better to mention suicide rather than offing a groupie. :D

Speaking of groupies, Anthrax's A Toast to the Extras just started.

Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked

warning...not for the faint of heart:shifty:

"I said Colt 45 and 2 Zig Zags...
Baby, that's all we need.
We can go to the park, after dark;
And smoke that tumble weed.
As the marijuana burns, we can take our turn,
Singing them dirty rap songs.
Stop and hit the bong like Cheech and Chong.
And send our tapes from here to Hong Kong.
So roll, roll, roll my joint.
Pick out the seeds and stems.
Feelin' high as hell, flying through Palmdale.

Skating on Dayton rims"

Testament - The Ballad. They really should have compromised with Alex Skolnick rather than let him leave the band... there's some truly-soulful guitar playing in this track that's signature Skolnick, and every album since his departure's been weak in my opinion. Besides, the track gets plenty heavy in the second half for the hardcore fans.

I like this song so much, I think I'll have another listen... followed up by The Legacy.

Last I heard he was back! :) (granted this was a couple years ago I had heard this)

Paul Bostaph.... he kicked ass during his run with Slayer!!

Apparently, jazz didn't work out for Skolnick. :D

The Four Horsemen - Moonshine. Nobody Said it was Easy is still one of my favorite albums.

Blues Traveler - Carolina Blues

Arthur Fielder and the Boston Pops - Waltz of the Flowers.

Hey, 'tis the season! :D And while I'm on the subject, Brenda Lee's Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is possibly the worst Christmas song ever performed... and that's saying a lot.

Sorry, Jim... I'm just feeling festive this year. I don't even know why. At least I waited until about a week after Thanksgiving. :)

As long as it's after December 1st it's all good with me. :)

My daughter loves Trans Siberian Orchestra so we've got Wizards in Winter playing.
