tiny...aka 1958 lloyd

Just drink a 6-pack, and you should have enough metal to fab an entire body for that thing... ( makes the original Civic look like a Caddy)

hmm very studibaker ish....and a bit larger than my lloyd.....besides if i wanted to driver to southern oregon i would have picked up 2 more lloyds befor xmas for free(1 300cc wagon and 1 19hp 600cc coupe)..but they made mine not look so ruff

i will fit in it im makeing the needed modifications to do so..what you dont notice is the roof is a huge buble ..cant say i could have driven it as stock but i certainly fit in the front and had head room

takeing a friend looking for 67 lincoln parts today to http://www.allamericanclassics.com/
sooo ima look for some tidbits that might be suitable for the lloyd

atm ive got a set of mustang seats and a caddilac tilt tele column that i think are going in it...unless i can find a 60s mopar tilt column as i would prefer to keep the keys on the dah not the column

any opinions on turn signall sizes?..was thinking about a set of 68 yellow side lights as front turn signals with LED's lighting them up?

tail lights have been found and verifyed for fit...late 60s t-bird inner lenses..pics shortly

I was gonna say XL's got a set of headlights on his avatar that would look good on... well they'd look good anywhere really:squirrel: :tats:

I like the round 68 light idea. Those 1156 or 1157 LED replacement bulbs should be a nice fit behind those size lenses. Shop around for LED's though. Some of them suck as far as decent brightness goes behind a lot of factory type lenses.

i was going to buy a 1000 count bag of them from japan and make my own bulb setups...been meaning to try it for dash lights as well just havnt gotten to it...those damn premade ones are NOT cheep

well due to a nice chunk of crap in my eye i have been down and going stirr crazy ..heres a few shots of what i "was" working on prior to my eye

the entire car is unbolted with the only exceptions being the 3 small rolled pans a rear 2 foot by 6 inch piece of body(bolts thru the rolled pans) and the torsion sway bar otherwise its striped to nothing

floors and new frame support comeing along nicely and some frenching desizions are in the works

ok heres some frenching that is to be done..first some shots of measurements just to give an idea of what space i do and dont have to work with

i will however need some input on 2 or 3 lights per side..the lenses are late 60s tbird tho they are NOT seen they go below the actualy tail light lenses on those glamour birds in an attempt to make 6 bulbs light up the whole panel..there more than perfect for my lack of space..the final shot is a "test" of more or less what the lens "should" look like once mounted

i would pick another location for them "IF" the car was larger..but being so small i figured i would mocve them into the highest location i could so that they are more likely to be seen

I like the look of the 2 lights per side. 3 makes it kinda busy for the size of the panel/body imo.

I'll go with Fish on the pair, six lights on such a small car would look gaudy.:dgt:

I'd say tight. Keeps things in perspective and with those lenses they would tie in better to the eye if they were close together. Spread out with those lenses would just look odd imo.

well heres what ive got to work with on the front fender for frenching...im realy considering going to the smaller round headlight unit ..but unshure..restoman have a look and clue me in on what i need to do about extending the headlight area a bit ..the chrome ring in the pic...i only have that 1 not a set of them and finding another would be about as bad as looking for a stock hemi a bodys forsale under 5k.

im thinking bring the ring out about an inch or 2 while makeing the hole size smaller and keeping the headlight right where its at...frenched yes but extended first..make sense?...only example i can think of is the way a merc ring would get welded on and then the headlight frenched in behind it

also looking for ideas on tail light placement in relation to the body roll..note last pic..thinking just a lil over the edge for some side slit?
