I haven't seen any sheep here in MT. Just a bunch of Moose, Elk, Porcupines, Skunks and... BADGERS!?!?!?! [smilie=2:

I don't particularly have any inclination to get near ANY of those.:dgt:

Digging through old photos today and tried out the new scanner/printer we got a couple months ago.
Crappy image I know, but kinda cool anyhow.

Street freak....:D..summer 1993

With the super moon tonight, I'm hoping for a "moon over my Yammy" picture from one of our bike owners.

Get it? Say it out loud.

Cmon. This stuff kills in the pokanos (sp?)

if i had a yammerhammer id sell it and get another honda.....the best i could do right now would be pull the yammy engine off the shelf and hold it up to the moonlight

I've got a Yammie, but I don't feel like pushing it out of the garage.

It's too damned cold..............and dark.

The engine may resemble an HD V-twin but it has 4 times the smoothness and dependability and at least twice the power.

Do you think................

.....that just maybe that Fram filter is functional????

A huge amount of work and creativity to build that bike. Especially when you consider it started out as a shaft drive cruiser....

oh dont get me wrong im sure its WAY better built than a hog block.....its just the "style" of the engine i dont like..i allready liked the bike

That's almost like saying that all small blocks are high winding, low torque motors. In most instances it may ring true. But in regards to motorcycles, the V-twins available from the different manufactorers are akin to comparing apples to broccoli. The HD use a single rod journal with a 45 deg. V angle, creating an uneven firing order. Also air cooled, causing the rear cylinder to get the hot air.
The Yammies use a 75 deg. V, which helps static balance tremendously. But still air cooled.
The Honda shadows use a 45 deg, like HD, but with offset crankpins, fooling the engine to think it is at 180 deg. The Honda V's will climb to 8000rpm in stock form. An HD runs flat by 5K rpm and the Yammie turn about 7k.

Motorcycle V designs have ranged anywhere from 26 deg up to 90. Bunching them all together is akin to calling a Crayola 60 pack a box of wax.
