Pic of the day.

i had one..wore out and broke the levers...dad fixed..wore the front tire clean out..broke a pedal off dad fixed..wore both rear wheels down to just side panels.....it eventualy went away......the "new" remakes dont do them justice..the originals had a VERY adjustable seat that you or i could STILL ride comfortably..my dad even rode it lol.....theres one on ebay...IN BOX...350$...and another one out of box for 575$..good lord

ok...i give..whats with the orange smeers???

Originally applied on the assembly line to signify that that bolt/nut had been tightened & torqued to spec. Further down the line an inspector would check all the paint daubs. If any were missing the car was sent to the repair line to be re-checked.........supposedly. :toot:

ahh ok..going for the "original" bit.....but if thats the case why do i see red poly and headers :p

The bushings came in the package and I couldn't wait for the black kit so I put them on for the customer.
The headers are a must have...this Swinger has a pump gas 340 with ported X heads and 3.55 gears and in 2nd gear at 15 - 20 mph will light the tires up all the to the red line. You can't do that with ex manifolds at least I can't get that kinda performance out of them.

Is it my monitor or does that "corporate blue" almost look like 68 turquoise? :hmmm:

yeah that blue does seem "off" but on mine it seems more petty blue with a dash of neon tossed in...sexy dart regardless......just was a little baffling assembly line markings but modded lol......what headers are those they "look" like they have descent ground clearance...and lets face it abody and headers means you gotta useualy have the nose in the sky

You guys must have good moniters...that color with the flash does turn a petty/cooperate blue cross but in real life it's a color that he had made up..it's more a teal blue and it's darker in person."to me it reminds me of an AMC color"
He said his car is not original original it's got a lot of his personal likes in it and after thirty some years he's tired of that chry blue under the hood...

Here's a pic of the 68 turquoise for comparison. I really like his made up color, it's bolder and makes the original look faded.

Rode the little Honda to a rally last weekend, it performed flawlessly even in the wet. Pic was professionally shot just moments before the sky opened up.
