Oh, god. My week just got better.

LOL @nodda :D

Actually though, the possible purchase of a regular cab truck makes perfect sense. Air bags, rear wheel ABS, and big bumpers to keep mommas baby safe. Insurance rates for the base model should be reasonable and the limited passenger capacity is also a good thing with young drivers IMO.;)

Let the saga continue....

um...
um...

when i have the money
not for a while.

I'll probably get a Club Cab though. The regular cab has no room for people. the Club Cab can take 4 passengers, right?

5, IN A PINCH. and I think it is called a quad cab when you get into that vintage. ;)

My brother was at a religious convention (I was there but stayed at a different house) and they crammed 12 people in a Prius.

Don't ask me how they did it...but I would really like to know why.

They must have been a group of circus clowns.

Your missing the point, again..and not the one on your head.

The fewer adolescents in a vehicle the lesser the chances for trouble...don't ask me how I know. Save your pennies for a 2wd regular cab, it's all you need.

Yeah, I know...

I'll just leave the back seat for stuff for a while.

Who said I HAD to use them jump seats anyhow?

I can fit a few boxes back there.

Not quite 16 and just got his learners permit. You nailed the rest of it dead-on Chunk. :D

Gotta be at least 16.5 to get the learners here in Joisey, and that's with an approved driving course, 17 without the course. even after that, gotta have 6 monthe before getting the license, which is provisional for 3 years. Each year without incident you get more privilages, such as number of passengers allowed, ans hours of operation. They keep youngins on a tight leash here lately. These are all fairly new MVC reforms, so I might have a couple of the facts mis represented, but you get the idea.....

Sounds much like the rules up here in Ontario.
Learners at 16. Upgrade every year for the next 3. etc...
Something like that..

I've never had to deal with it and won't have to for another coupla years.

um, I passed the written test, I'm almost 16, and i talked to the folks again.

They said that a pickup is okay, but they told me that I should wait until the middle of summer '07 to purchase something so that i have time to get used to it before the beginning of senior year.

As far as I know...all I gotta do is start earning some money.
