where did the google ads come from????:hmmm:

We're trying it out.

The idea is that the ads will be of valuable content to you the users.
i.e. a new ad will tell you about something new in the mopar/auto world....

So far, the ads are not too relevant, but I have generated the sitemaps and they get submitted. I'm looking for ways to tweak it so that we get to the point where the ads are interesting.

That's the only reason we're doing it (and it was some cool programming to make it work.)

i have a request on the adds can we keep them from scrolling...if your mouse wheeling to the bottom of the page they will scroll a bit...i dont know if its a positioning error or what but its a lil annoying..not to sure i like the black background in the "default" format

relivant to us users eh...all i see is "web hosting" "word press" a stupid book and those damned ringtones.........lol google needs to pull there heads out of there arses if this is what they think is "relivant" to us

Scrolling?

Up and down?

They are only 90 pixels high - smaller than the banner.
They shouldn't scroll.
They don't in my browsers...

As for the content. I can't figure out what's going on.
THAT must be a placement issue.
I popped the same code into my own website and I get very relevant ads.
www.niagaramopars.com

I'll keep working on it.

I can work out the colour thing too. It just means editing each style.
No big deal. I just want to get the ads sorted out before I bother with that part.

They don't even show up on one of my computers... desktop no, laptop yes. Both are set up identically.

Two things could be at work there...

1. There are no relevant ads to display. I haven't set up an alternate source. So the space will just be blank.

2. Something is blocking your browser from going to the ad site. When I first started testing, I was getting nothing at all. Then I realized that I had my Hostsman program enabled and it was blocking my browser from those sites. :shifty:

Oh, and things should improve with the ads after the next time google crawls the site. I uhhh, heh heh, I was kinda blocking the spider. :D

well when i said scrolling perhaps i should have said twitching?...running my scroll wheel will make it jump about half a text line up or down..very anoying

im running firefox.view port is 1162x864...with the "default view of the web site..its the adds themselves inside of there "black area"...
