What are you working on?

We have a 360 we call Mary Jane. So named because like Mary Jane in the Spiderman movies, she is a whore. She has been in every Mopar we've owned, and beat on and put away wet.

So anyway, Mary Jane has around 15,000 very hard miles on her. We tore her down because we had some oil out the tailpipe issues (turned out to be the intake) and decided to check the pistons, rings, bearings....replaced stuff as needed. Got a nice solid cam to shove in her.....we'll see how she likes it.

Plans are to drop Mary Jane back in my Duster and take the Duster's 340 and stick it in our Dart.

We'll see if this is Mary Jane's last dance.

Mary Jane's not afraid of you. In fact, she lives just to spite you.

I've been working on the theoretical side of things turbocharged, since running the garage is too expensive. I've plugged about 40 cams into my modeled 340, a fair number into 71ChargerRT's stroker 440, and played a lot with various possible bores and strokes for both instances. My brain is filled with graphs and tables, but for the small block I still keep coming back to the stock-stroke 340 since I'm cheap and already own a steel crank for it and the minimal gain from a 360 isn't worth the expense of a steel crank. In the case of the big-blocks, the 474" stroked 400 is the king, but 71's already got a 440 and I'm not sure it's worth the expense to start over.

So I'm the only one with proof that I did some thing then? Beeper showed us pictures of his beemer. So I guess he at least went out to the garage. The rest of you just talk about what you plan to do. It's nice to know I'm some what of an over overachiever around here.;)

You don't know how true that is. There were so many times we thought we'd blown it up....but nope. This is an engine that we've shifted by valve float. :D

My camera broke. I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!

I thought your dog ate your homework!

Moved a couple weeks ago into a smaller house with a smaller garage. Been going through all of my dad's tools, saving what I use or might use some day, and bringing the duplicates and oddballs to work for the techs to pick through and buy.

I ate Vindaloo Chicken that I thought was Madras Chicken on Friday night.
Then on Saturday, I had Chinese food for dinner. There was enough left over for lunch AND dinner on Sunday.

So, other than trying to scrub the curry and garlic smell from the immediate three-block radius, I'm working on something. I'm just not sharing the information....

Today I also worked on my youngest daughter's softball skills. Got TWO in Little League this year. Gotta love it.

Car wise, I think it's time to finally get around to rebuilding the Thermoquad for the Palomino. Non garage wise, it's building a couple of commercials for customers, filming and editing for the gym, signing contracts for networks, revamping website, filming a dvd for one of the guys on my show, writing a business plan for a friend's clothing company, and forming a charitable foundation. The clothing company is going to look very cool. As soon as I have permission, I'll post the logo.

Hey! I worked on it...just not for very long. :p

Too snowy for softball practice, so we're back to working in the garage. Got Mary Jane screwed back together and now she's getting a coat of blue paint. Purdy.

No pics Stretchy....so I guess it didn't really happen. :D

Well I was out in the garage by 7:00 A.M. to get the wood stove fired up. I need the garage nice and warm so I can stain my shelf. Pics coming soon.

So lets see whats going on with you.

I made progress on nothing...

I picked up the seats and set them in the car. I think I'm going to have to speak to someone that does upholstery work, maybe they can put the newer stuff on the old frame, or something... The new seat is made for a flat floor, and I need my trans tunnel :D

I went out and bought a very cheap, used riding mower and ordered bearings for the deck pulleys that didn't have any, AFTER I smoked the new belt. :doh:Guess I should've checked before installing it. It does have an 18 horse B&S twin on it though :)

Today I get to fix the wall I knocked a chair into a couple weeks ago :toot:

And clean and organize the baby's room, cuz it's time for her to get out of mine!!! [smilie=i:
