Triplets in the back yard

68R/T

I got drunk and swallowed my teeth, now
I like this picture so much that I had it printed in a framed 8" X 10"

Ironically it's also the one that I enjoy driving the most. They each have their own thrills while driving. The hardtop with the Hemi is a total beast, but the cam in it makes city driving a pain. Plus 6 mpg is the best I can get. :( The convert, well what more do you need to say, the top goes down. :giggedy: But the sedan, with the 3-on-the-tree takes me back to my early days of driving. I grew up on them. At 16-17 years old having any size V8 with a stick would make your chest pop out.

That's three on the tree? Now I'm downright jealous. My first car was a booger green '68 Satellite moredoor sedan, 318 auto.. I'd have loved a stick in it. I really like column shifted manuals.. The look of confusion on people's faces when they ride with you for the first time, or you throw them the keys is always priceless.

Yup, 3-on-the-tree. :giggedy: 27k on the clock, 17k when I got it 13 yrs ago. I like driving it that much. (Remember, that's only summer months and I have other cars plus a motorcycle) About 6 yrs ago I took it up by Doc & Stretch. And with a trunk full of rims and a 3-speed trans and Stretch as co-pilot I could still squeak the tire in 2nd. I did put 2-4's on it, mostly for eye appeal. [smilie=2: It's not a real powerhouse with 2:76 gears, but first gear is still fun.
