Tracking an Ebay package

You know what? You can go ahead and wait until you've actually mailed the package before you dazzle me with the tracking number. I don't care that you clicked twice to pay for shipping. I wanna know when you actually got off your ass and walked to the mailbox or drove to the Post Office/ UPS drop off.

"I did" carries more weight than "I will" ;)

That is all, Party on! :giggedy:

But now you can waste your time and the post office or UPS' bandwidth refreshing the tracking page every 10 seconds to see when they actual GET the package.

lets not forget the morons who forget to scan the package at any given location/depot and then its suddenly on your doorstep and still says its several states away

Or how about this wonderful trip the package took.....

new question, stale thread

What game is this guy running?

I have 2 auctions for each of a set of books (just in case buyer only needs one) with sweetened combined shipping.

2 bidders, a newb with just 6 feedback, and a pro with 2500 plus... member since 1999..... 100% +feedback....blah blah blah

We'll call Newb A and "pro"B

A bites with opening bids
B counters with a "proxy" bid
A is ahead
B ups bid and is winning

B retracts both bids. leaving A jacked up to 16 something each when total for both should have been 13 bucks.

B has a history of retracted bids.

Is B going to try and snipe it at the last second?

morally, as it stands, if A wins I feel he should get them for the opening bid.

Why should I give a shit when the difference is only 17 or 18 bucks? Well it was 300 on a car I bought. It had 3 or 4 bidders up to 350 bucks after that it was just me and the quitter. All the quitters bids up to his retraction counted

growing weary pondering a big bon-fire :xl:

My ups always goes like this. Atlanta GA to Montgomery AL [102 miles north of me] to Jacksonville FL [305 miles southwest of Montgomery] Then To Pensacola FL [259 miles due west of Jacksonville.

for 44 cents a USPS letter to my-self travels nearly 300 miles, even when dropped in the "local" box. They all go to the sorting center in Waterloo. :nanna:
