There is no factory forged-crank 360. Period. Even motorhomes and trucks got iron. The only forged 360 cranks are aftermarket.

I would sell everything and then I'll build you an all alum 605 with the Indy block I've been sitting on since I bought it new in 93. 850 hp on pump gas and you'll never have to open the hood except to fill the windshield washer jug.
All you need are good cyl heads (250 cfm) for one of those small blocks and the right cam and carb and you'll think it has 400 ci in it...Cyl heads are a wonderful thing in the right hands...good heads=big fun...doesn't matter how many ci you have.

I have a couple of A body project cars here. I also have 2 383's, two 833's and two 727's.
Plus, I have the strong 360/727 from the v8 voyager.....and a freshly rebuilt 340.

I would prefer a keisler 5 or 6 speed, but what would you do???

I'd just add an Ebody with a mostly aluminum (except the block) 511CI to the mix and sell all the other stuff off...:toot:

I would built a engine with loads of torque and put a stick shift behind it with a 3.23 gear in the axle, then you got the power for burning tires and you also can drive nice at speed.

Mopey now got a 3.23 gear and is still burning the tires when i hit it at 60 MPH and on the highway I can cruise easy at 80MPH at 3200RPM and i love it!
Yes with the 3.91 it was pulling harder but traction was always a problem on the street and that is also better now with the 3.23 gear.

I now got a 727 behind it so I do not hurt the 8 3/4 and warp the body but next year I'm going Tremec 5-speed also with a little less engine so everything stay's together
