Shoot me now.......

RUSTY Cuda

In over my head!
No camera, but an interesting little ride I took today.
Stopped over charger mans for a quick visit & his engine builder called him & said his rear chunk was ready(BTW he ended up going with 410 gears) asked me if i wanted to take a ride, being the crappy day it was I said sure , so we ploped the return chunk into the charger(mine that is) & headed out .
Now I met this guy once & he provided me with a rebuilt carb to replace the too big holly on mine, even trade, I ended up giving him 75 bucks instead cause the carb is still on my shelf a year later!
On the way C man mentions he's got a two car garage under his house, 2 wide that is, probably better than two cars deep. But he failed to mention what he had in the garage. So we pull up, a cool 60 somethin dodge wagon in front next to a trailer full of serious goodies(never got to see those) aqua & white dodge polara wagon with 440 on the b pillar(if I have the letter right )
Hes building a max wedge for it, has the bay detailed & ready, california car, not sure if the paint was orig. but it was bone dry!
So you say big deal, but wait i haven't even gotten into the garage yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So as we walk in I can see two drag cars towards the back, walking past a goldmine of parts, engines on stands (one was the wedge) trannies, headers of all sorts, just a ton of mopar stuff.
He see me gawkin at the cars & nonchalantly says those are 2 original max wedge cars![smilie=2:
Since he will probably be involved with the rebuild of the 74 engine I will get back there someday, his name is Jerry Stien (or Stein)
I car wedgie was in the other was being rebuilt, lots of pics of the cars at englishtown back in the day.
So there's a little bright spot on a rainy dreary day! Rich.
