Pic of the day.

Not A Duster

No limits or standards - don't have to be Mopar or even car related - just post up a picture you find appealing. Doesn't have to be one you took yourself - could even be something you found and thought was cool on the 'net. (Like the twisted princess stuff Novagirl posted up a while back.) Pictures can be funny, cool or just plain awesome - any images you would like to share with the rest of us, including of yourself or stuff you have seen.

No Jester - porn is still not allowed.

Let's try for updating this at least once a day with something fresh - more often would be cool as well.

I'll start:

I love this picture. I don't know where it came from - found it years ago on the net, but it just breathes power.

I wonder what this would have sounded like?

Fortress Louisburg, Cape Breton Island.
On a sunny/foggy day, it's one of the best photo ops I've ever seen.

I know. I was goofing around with a photo chopping program on my iPod and those were the only two pics I had that would work together.

I've got literally dozens from Louisburg alone.
When the crowds are low, you can get some truly fantastic pics, especially if the custumed animators are around.

Iona - HIghland Village Museum, in Cape Breton.
My Mom's people lived around here since arriving from The Isle of Barra, Scotland in the 1800s.
The museum overlooks Grand Narrows on the Bras D'Or lakes, another truly beautiful place.
I took a lot of pics on film, playing around with exposure and time delay, but my scanner no worky. :(

Took this one myself... you just don't see this kind of attention to detail in either architecture or construction anymore.

This doesn't really fit the theme going on here, this is more of a "caption this" pic. Saw this on my ride home from work, and went back to get a pic cause i thought it was funny....

That's the beauty of this thread : No "theme" to worry about. Funny stuff fits just a well.

Mr. Resto: those is some beautiful shots...obviously a part of the country you care deeply about.

Doc: I love houses like that - There's really none left standing in the city here, but if you go for a drive to small towns and even some older farms around here you can still find structures like that.

New day, new pic....:shifty:

I picked the class thinking if my own self but the car actually won. :D
I found later that I didn't even have to register. I wouldn't have but I thought I had to to be on the field.

Fun surprise to round out the weekend.

I think enough blue hair saw the car to get votes.

Oh yeah? Back in our car show days our Dart once got SECOND place out of two cars. Beat that!.........oh wait:shifty:
