They're literally the most-common '72-'75 (or '76) Dodge 14" wheelcover. They came on everything from four-door Coronets to Chargers and Challengers (I had a '74 Charger with 'em). Personally I think they're one of the ugliest wheelcovers Chrysler ever made, but Stretch was just fine with 'em until I opened my mouth Thursday:are/were they just some oddball option ive never seen or what?
I still sell them.I checked one of my local stores and they indeed carry those Cooper tires.
I have no idea how it survived so well. There are seat covers in the trunk along with a car cover. The seat covers are still on the head rests. I'm sure that has alot to do with it. We originally thought that black phone pad on the dash was covering a crack. Two good things about that. It has no adhesive, it is just sitting there and there is no crack under it.That interior doesn't look like it's almost 50 years old! And did they drive that with soft cotton gloves on...the grain on the steering wheel looks as fresh as the day it left the dealership!
As you say sucks that rear door got so buggered.
