Really, why are there no members pics in the banner, and I don't mean pics of members' members....

The banner is something that I hacked in trying to replicate what BBB had done on the old software. It's based on three hacks that I found around the web along with a little of my own coding.
Much like what BBB had done on the old site, the pictures are somewhat moderated in the sense that you have to send it to me to rework so that it fits.
That was another concern at the time: a lot of the re-sizing of images on the fly was flakey at best. It's better now. So, having pics from the garage/gallery in a banner would be pretty easy to do. It's actually a feature of the garage/gallery software.

However, all of the pics that are in the banner now would not necessarilly be in the garage.... So, they would no longer be in the banner if we went to the garage/gallery feature.

I'm good either way. Someone tell me to do it, or not.

only 50..shit i got more than that on the RC site im on ...unlimited file size and unlimited amount of pic's...thinking ive got about 300 pics on there site

seriously, It would just be one more step toward moderation?. I like the banner as is and the hover over of who it is, I guess that's the title you give it when you put it up..?

We like to think "Less in Moderation" is a good thing. (Is like jumbo shrimp?)

The banner is really easy to manage as it is.
I get a picture.
I resize it.
I rename it.
I upload it.
Done.
The programming does the rest.
