Greggles, paying down a mortgage is better than paying rent.I started out the same way - we used to look at houses and I had no fear because I figured I'd never get approved for a mortgage - and then one day, I did. You figure it out because you have to. You'll do fine.

One thing about being a homowner - it's not much different than being a homo - you need just as much KY everytime you go to renew the mortgage. Like I said, you'll do fine.

My mortgage payment is gonna be less then I'm paying in rent so I'm good there. An extra $50 a month should cut about 8yrs off the mortgage
