Thought you and 71chargerRT might like to love/hate/grindge along with me!? yea the rest of you can too! lol
story: this 73 charger has been in my town for years an old lady drove it since new garage kept 318 auto ...I've watched it for at least the last 10 years old lady driving it to the doctors ,store etc. never wanting to sale untill a year or so ago her family put it up for sale for 2500 and yeah it killed me I was having tough times and no money so I passed ending up in one of her grandkids hands who drove it but changed it very little so I thought theres still hope! ill end up with it! but!...about a month ago I see him at a local tire shop talking ,this tire shop has a guy there thats a screwup when it comes to cars and hes into neon metallic cadillacs and impalas etc. has an iroc on 22s so I was like!...NO!>>>!! hell yes he ends up getting it for 1200 F$#@! I stop in to talk him out of it!"naa I think Ill fix it up!" I said man atleast keep it muscle car! he says Im going to atleast put 20s on it then we'll see so Ive been trying to steer him to muscle car! but!? he did by luck find some wheels that resemble rally s but! ? wish i had a pic of it completely stock but heres one with the wheels and big push bumper pads removed!v-10truck006.jpg

about a week later he calls me wanting me to help him put a go wing on it and a six pack scoop! he bought the cheapest crap off egouge I ever seen ! the wings legs were made outa the cheapest potmetal ! I helped him put it on but didnt have time to help him that day wish I would have he ended up reviting it on with about 200 revits lol Itried to get him to watch for a buldge hood. he got on to it after work that day we put the spoiler on and it broke off the stands and slid down the Road! lol their supposed to send more stands I told hell with those ! order some stockies but he never did still running round with broke legs on it! man I wish he'd get tired of it! and trade it to me, before it get boat mettallic on it or something!phone pic backup feb 22 12 692.jpg his iroc! :confused:

yea!!! hold on to your seat there good Dr.!! He calls me up wanting to know how to mix paint basecoat clearcoat so I ask what brand he says just car paint! so I gave him the basics on the phone ..he calls back in about an hour saying its fn'up so I stop by hes trying to paint it black ,looks like someone took a mop to it! so I go through it with him? use wax and grease remover? yes wheres it at? got to looking he used an old wax removing polishing cloth to wipe the wax and grease remover with! I say you cant do that ! he says I washed them tho! I said you cant wash wax out and then the remover will bring it back out ! got to looking at his paint Hes useing anchor oilbased oilfield rig paint thinning with acetone! DOH!! so I tell him let it dry and youll have to sand your ass off! so next time I see it he has the thing sanded down and a base of silver down says he thinking about doing it all that way and over laying with candy!! I remember when a local kid painted his car using black equipment enamel. He was so proud of it, right up until I asked him, "What did you put it on with, a broom?" :D It looked awful, and from selling auto paint on and off for 25 years and several brands, I can tell you that type of paint doesn't hold up worth a damn. It'll stick to nearly anything, but it will look like ass in a year or two. It's for protection, not luster. :doh: But, he wanted to spend $37 on a gallon rather than $150 or so for our budget line.

Most of those equipment-type paints want to be cut with naphtha; what does that tell you? I tried actual enamel reducer and the results were less than stellar. The shit wouldn't dry.

Oh, and your attachment doesn't work.
 
i dont see the last attachment either......as for the 20s...funny thing they dont look that bad...atleast he didnt have to lift it to fit em ill give him that much credit..
 
Well at least it doesn't have some kind of lift kit on it yet and with those wheeels and tires it's gona ride so bad it will most likely put it's self out of it's own misery. Excuse me while I go wash my eyes out with acetone! I hope thats strong enough to remove that image from my eyes!

Most kids these days have zero taste in vehicle mods. At least the car is still savable with correct rims and proper tires! As for the Camaro, at least he didn't do that to the Mopar! :D Never understood the whole "Donk" thing, especially on Muscle/Sports cars!
 
The last I talked to him he was looking into the new chrome paint thinking of making a hotwheels chrome edition!? Wanting me to cut hotwheels stickers for it! Hmmm carried out by the right body/paint guy could b cool I suppose!?
 
That's a damn shame!!! That car was sweet looking, and those rims weren't the worst I've seen on an old Mopar. That boy needs to be dragged out behind the barn by one of the piercings we all know he has and get beaten with a torsion bar.


I have a torsion bar laying around, and I have some time... where are you in OK?
 
actualy..hotwheeling it would be cool as hell in my book...he has allready destroyed a survivor..so why not
