Got the old thermocouple out without to much drama and the local hardware store had a replacement in stock. Furnace is working great and I'm most certainly pleased to finally realize my dream of having a heated garage.

Yup did that, I used plenty of pipe dope putting it all together. I have a brother that sells and services propane and propane related accessories who gave me some helpfull pointers...we call him Hank Hill when discussing LP.
