Aint that the truth!!

With your fab skills why don't you make you own?

This Spring, I'll be in the market for some new rubber on my RC. Anyone know where to get a set at an affordable price? I'm not looking for cheap quality obviously. Tire size is 33/12.5/15 but, I might be willing to jump up to 35's (NO bigger) if the price is right. the truck will see both paved and dirt/mud. Basically, if I'm driving down the street and see a mud pit, I'm throwin it in 4-Hi and hittin it, havin my fun and back on the road again kinda deal. Yes, I do plan to take it to a few play spots for an all day bash once in a while as well. I know 69 has had great experience with Kumho's and Daytons. I'm open to brands and would prefer RWL. Budget will be about $1k or less. Thanks.

What ever you do, DON'T BUY BFG ALL TERRINS AT's! They are way over priced for 30 year old tecnology. They suck in the mud and arnt much better on pavement. I can't for the life of me figure out why in the hell people drop that kind of cash for that junk! But at least they take pounds of weight to balance out and likely will have broken belts before the tread is half gone.

id never let him buy any AT tire if he is going to run with me...its gotta be a MUD tire...honestly these days i look tward the milspec takeoffs

Same reason most people think Fram oil filters are good....Marketing!!

I am already forgetting BFG's even are an option for this truck. The only reason I bought the BFG's for the fish was because they were about one of the only brands left that still made that size, and we could get locally. I know BFG's have a lot of hype but, I know they don't last long.

He specified for the Barracuda, and I said Radial T/As. So, I'm not sure what your point is, Stretchy.

We were talking aboot the all terrains for the ram charger. Then he mentioned the tires on the barracuda. I was agreeing with the radial TA's being ok.

when you want wide and white letter..aint alot of options for the car...as far as i car BFG doesnt make any other tire than the good ole car bfgs

You can do what I did with the tires on the crewcab. I found the load range E tires I wanted, but they did not come with raised white letters. BUT they did have the lettering on the tire in black. I just cleaned the side walls very well, and then used vinyl/rubber dye and hand painted the lettering with small brushes. Took two coats and they look great. I did this first on the tires on the wagon.
