A Moment of Silence

I don't always drink beer, but when I do
For the 4 Boy Scouts that lost their lives last night when a tornado touched down in their camp in western Iowa :(. This hit me kinda hard because my oldest son (8) is a Cub Scout and I am an Assistant Cubmaster. We went on a weekend campout a few weeks ago and we had heavy rain for 2 days so I can understand why these guys didn't pack up and go home, it's a Scout thing... I'm deeply saddened for the families that have to live through this, and my prayers go out to all the Scouts and their families...

Thank you :helpme:

I was a Cub and a Queen Scout in my younger days. Went out on many of mother natures mixed bag of weather and we always perserveired. My prayers got to the injured and lost. :helpme:

terrible,
the regular bundle driver took off last week to go camping with his scout group, closer to Des Moines. Doesn't lessen what happened but :whew:

I feel for the familys and fellow scouts of these kids. It's never a good thing when kids meet such a tradgedy! :( It's just not right! :doubt:

Really good to hear about the other kids Manning up right away and helping each other, tough kids in a tough situation:cool:
