A12 - time to get busy

Got photos of the underside yesterday asking what to do about the leaf spring relocation, those confirm it's on the rotisserie now.
Do you need to cut frame chunks out of the parts car? I imagine the B-body setup is similar to the A, where a large chunk of frame gets cut out for the new front spring pockets. The shackle area might need some love too. It would be arguably easier to replace the entire rails than patch up both ends, but I'd also be loathe to remove rust-free rails. I guess that's between you and the shop.

Yeah I would need to cut chunks out but I want to leave the tubs as is so then we would need to cut those chunks to install the pre-fab relocation kit in place of what Vanke's shop installed. That kit is now mostly unavailable and stupidly expensive, so I decided to ask them to roll it over, clean up the welding to their satisfaction but otherwise leave it as is.

I actually think I know where there's an NOS MP spring relocation kit. The guy that sold me the Challengers last year had one sitting on the shelf. I didn't buy it because I've relocated enough leaf springs already and my other cars have enough wheelhouse for any tires I'd want to run. I can look into it, if you'd like.

Too late now :D but thanks!

Yes for thats the A12. They're not all the right shade and the camera and the monitor also affects it. This will give you an idea.

The spray out is Akzo-Nobel code 99 for 1969, same as Chevy Ralley Green for 1968.

I think it's a great color but there's no fender tag so I probably should have gone ahead and color changed it to B5 blue LOL.

It's going to have steelies and chrome lug nuts, but with the mini-tubs and spring relocation the rears will be 13" wide. It had a 13.5" tire under it to start with.

Now it comes to me, I have seen that before, the car looks even greener than the sample if that's possible.
It does actually look good on the car though.
I'm a maroonish or black lover. Even my B5 blue would not be my choice, but the car was B5 & since it was a 'Cuda with a numbers motor I kept it.
Had more freedom with the clone, that was (not to offend anyone) that shit brown color , went with what my original 'Cuda was E7 burnished red metallic!
