I found a Dana 44 front axle for my '96 Ram on ebag.
"DANA 44 FRONT AXLE 3.54 RATIO 1998 DODGE 1500" is the description.
He even has a picture of the whole axle. Starting bid was $75, shipping was $50...
Thought "cool, it will only cost $50 to ship an axle from Florida to Michigan....he must really want it gone"
I emailed the seller & asked if I could buy it before the auction ended. In the meantime, I bid on it.
Now I get an email from him stating that it's just the ring/pinion/carrier for $75 + $50 shipping
[smilie=a:.
Got another email from him stating he would sell what is left for $125....that's fine, as long as I have a housing...BUT he "couldn't be responsible for shipping something that big & I would have to arrange shipping"
WHATTHEFUCK!!!
You put a picture on EBAY of the WHOLE damn axle with the description mentioned above KNOWING people all over the planet look on ebay & don't want to even attempt to ship anything but the feckin ring & pinion!!
If I end up having to drive to 2000 miles to Florida for this damn axle, I'm gonna be a bit upset.
Anyone know exactly how I am supposed to "arrange shipping" & what I'll have to fork over for it?
%#^%^%@**^%^!!!
