not old skool enuf imo..too 80s cramaroish...LOVE that coloer ..you want a killer look for that color..old skool aluminum slots do the dart body and that color justice

The ones on the Satellite are AnsenII aluminum slots, the ones on the Blue Duster behind it are Mopar Rallies, and the ones on the Blue Neon in front are Neon R/T alloys

i had the slots on it but, 2 were small bolt and 2 were big bolt i went with the moser axles so i was forced to make a change.

what ya think about a black swinger stripe?

BTW those Neon wheels are too old skoo for me lol.

Looks real good to me!

the stripe is in the works.... as soon as i get the motor back in it .
and ill the bugs outta it.
i went with a milder 440 so it would me a bit more streetable.

i just put together a 0.30 over 440 with the .484 cam and a ported set of 906 heads with the performer rpm and msd with a 750 double pumper on it .

i think a 12.0 is not out of the question and i can still drive the car all over the place. without all of the hassles of the solid and the high compression.
i was gonna part the other motor out but i think ill keep it for a back up . and have the block borred 0.30 and put a .509 and some Eddys on it next year.

I think 12.0's is definetly within reach. My sons Dart you see here ran 12.30's @ 110 with stock shortblock 383 and the MP .484 cam. It had 3.91's and used a Turbo Action tight 10" 3000 convertor so I see no reason a 440 car built about the same wont be a few tenths faster.
Course now his Dart has a .030 over 400 with the .557 cam. Ron

man that is real nice dart .

the more i thought about it... drivablilty was a consideration that i wasnt thinking about, so i went with the a milder package. i think ill have much more fun with it. my has 3.91's and a 2800 stall in it it should be a real sweet driver.

if anything a little more cam and a touch more converter would do the trick. if for some reason i cant get it down there some more work on the heads will do the trick :)

I like the rims . I like the slots. :hmmm:
Its what you like of course.
Slots, IMO are way back ol-school that never get old. thats why they still make slotted wheels( in diff styles) originated to let air pass by the brakes for cooling( example, cop car rims) , . Centerlines give it that race look.:giggedy:

I like your ride and the color  .!
Yeah put on a stripe:banana:
