Wait a minute...

call me picky but it seems like he could have popped for some repop stainless tips to finish off the exhaust :hmmm:

We have also installed new R/t style exaust tips (NEW) on the 3" Magna Flow exhaust system (NEW). This baby sounds so sweet!

huh???? where????

Nice! I'd like to see the burl walnut, though. You'd think they'd get a nice picture in the ad of that.

For the $140K they supposedly have in it the quality just doesn't seem up to par. I'd expect more of a Foose, Trepanier or Coddington quality level car for that kind of coin. The under carriage looks pretty sloppy from what I can see of it. And for the amout of writing they give that special walnut treatment, they sure don't give you a good look at it.:hmmm:

I'd like to think that mine will be a better car for WAAAAAAAY less money when done. Plus, I'm not hacking up a real BB car to make mine into what it will be.:shifty:

A full Rotisserie Restoration

B The Stereo is a NEW Kenwood unit with AM/FM & CD Player and a Remote Control unit. The Speakers are Eclipse units, 6"x9" in the rear and 5 1/4" up front. These are again, not seen! The speakers have been hidden from sight! Oh, we have also installed a power antenna! The detail on this car just never ends!!!

We also made the dash panel and it is covered by burl walnut. We installed Sport Comp Gauges by Autometer, Tach, Speedo, Temp, Oil Pressure, Voltage and Fuel gauge. All the signal and warning lights are LED's. "Very sharp and original dash."

Headman Headers (not the cheap ones either!):bwuhaha:

"Just try to find the Battery Cables!" it'd be nice if you smell burnt plastic and/or hear:shifty: that nice crackling sound.

I'd still drive it tho!:bravo: I'd wail on it even though it's too pretty to drive.

But what's with the front end sitting directly atop the axle stand - no protective pad or even a hunk of cardboard to protectthe paint.

Hood fit is horrible.

But it'd be fun to hammer on, for sure. :)

I just don't see where $140K got spent. It's a nice car, to be sure, but it's not like it's got aftermarket suspension, a Hemi, or anything exotic. Anywhere something expensive would go (say, a Rallye cluster), they went aftermarket. Expensive as they may be, those AutoMeter gauges probably cost 1/3rd what a detailed, restored Rallye cluster would have cost to install. To me, that's cutting corners.

I'll bet that ugly plastic shift knob is a dead-on match for all that burled walnut... I'd also love to know how it got an Auburn Sure Grip from the factory, considering Auburn didn't start building 8¾" diffs until the mid-1980s. :hmmm:

I love when people put stuff like "Built by the Funk Bros.", like they're famous or something. :jagoff: Just because you might have a solid reputation in Asswarsh, OR doesn't mean anyone's ever heard of you outside your local area. If I ever sell my car once it's done, I'm gonna say it was completely "restored" by Gerhard Ticklebiscuit or something equally stupid.

What, didn't you catch the part in the description about having to put up with their wives during the buildup? :bwuhaha:

Maybe... I could see that much in labor if they screwed it up a bunch of times and had to keep re-doing it til they got it right (or just gave up on it :p ).

Wait a minute:hmmm: ... I went back and caught this in the description:
We have over $140k in this vehicle, not including all the labor!

Sorry, but from what I see in those pics compared to what it says in the description, those guys are just full 'O sheet IMHO.:naughty:
