Mt. Grimsvotn blew its top about 3 hours ago here in Iceland, soot and ash everywhere. Some how, I think I'll never get off this damn island. I'll post some pics later.

nope, it just blew. We felt a little shimmy about 1130pm and then all the alert sirens went nuts and told us to watch the roller channel on TV, they want us to keep watch for magma movement towards base but they expect it will go the other way.
