Some buddies were at the track yesterday in the Ottawa area (Luskville).....
Greg73cuda's car was there and performing quite consistently as usual with his son Ryan piloting the beast. The Cuda ran strong and consistent and Ryan took the semi-pro championship ! They're still racing today so there may be additional winnings to report. Ryan really knows this car well and on one run cut a perfect .500 light......the kid definately has his chit together [smilie=e:
Blown68 (Kevin) was running his 68 coronet street/strip car during the test and tune. After multiple passes in the very low 7's (1/8 th mile).....he finally got that 6 he was looking for.....6.97 to be exact. That et converts to a 10.70 something 1/4 mile [smilie=2: The car launches hard, grabs some air under the skinnies and flat out hauls ass. Very impressive for an all steel tank b-body that weighs 4000lbs.
Congrats to both these guys on a job well done [smilie=e:
