Well now I did it. Today was one wierd day. Called into work cause I wasnt feeling well this AM. Kinda burnt out on it actually, and found a couple prospects to check on tomorrow. Anyway, they called me back and said that it was unacceptable and that was it for that job.
Anyway thats not why I'm ticked. I loaded a cab onto my trailer eariler this AM and then later on was stripping out a junk mower for the scrappers. I dropped the gate on the Dakota and was using it as a tool area. You know where this is going, dontcha? Yes I got into the truck leter on that afternoon and was backing my truck between a car and a slide to get into the back yard. Then I got the trailer angled to where I want it and in the process, CRUNCH! Mom yelled at me to stop and said I ruined my tailgate.
Mother fucker! Sumbitch hit the upright in front of my trailer that the winch is mounted on. Now its pushed in at the top. It still closes but it sucks because that thing is getting more dents and dings on it than I'd like. I need a dedicated beater that I can tow the trailer with.
Mom told me about a brand new Ram that a co-worker had that was damaged the same way. That sucks even worse than mine because mine is a bit older (a '95) and I could find the parts I need in a wrecking yard much easier.
