Scott Land, aka "Grog62" on Ebay. He's from Illinois and sells mostly Mopar stuff.
I bought what he advertised as a set of NOS vent windows for the upcoming resto of my wife's 64 Valiant convertible. I paid a decent chunk for them, but stuff like this is hard to find for early a-bodies, and the ones on our car are junk.
Anyway, I pay via check (with his permission) 2 days after the auction ends. I sent multiple emails to confirm he received it, and finally got a reply after a few of them. It took him over a month to ship them, and when I got them, I saw that one was indeed NOS, while the other was used. Nice condition, but not NOS and not as nice as the NOS one in the deal...still a used part.
Now, the used part was in good enough shape that I definately wanted to keep it, but I emailed him some pix that show, clearly, that the part was used. He claimed he didn't know (lol sure he didn't), and agreed to refund $40 of the purchase price. This was 2 months after the initial transaction.
Since then, I've sent him numerous emails, and the only reply I've gotten was a "my computer crashed, who are you?" type email. Needless to say, no refund.
Now, in hindsight, I guess I rolled the dice. I didn't stop to think that, in his auction picture, one of the windows had the upper pivot, and one did not. I wasn't 100% sure that a new window came without the pivot. Also, though he has 98% positive feedback, the 2% negative are all for issues similar to mine...inaccurate descriptions, refusal to ship, refusal to refund, that kind of thing. I guess I learned a lesson here, and I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was.
