Hey all,
Havent had time to post, been really busy lately with work and then the Mopars. But anyway had a guy stop in last sat asking some questions on a Derby car. He offered to me a '78 Adventurer 150 for $200. He had put in a 400 and 727 out of a '73 3/4 ton and never got it finished.
Overall its pretty stright anctually and other than the floors its pretty solid too. Light green on green. Amazingly its an adventurer with NO air and a rubber floor mat.
No carb on the dang thing but there IS a Torker 383 sitting on that engine! It'd be worthless on a low comp 400 as is but I may try it on the grey shortbed just for laughs. Hell if this motor turns out to be okay then I might use the whole damn thing in that Truck, then kick the rest out in the field for parts.
The flooded '89 I just bought, its going to be kicked out there as well for parts. May still try to get the motor drained and fired but I dont have time for it right now. I know that the A/C lines and compressor comes off that truck (the '89) as well as the heater box for my '88 V6 Shortbed.
