Rusty's not very quiet cuda progress

Wow !! You have a great one there.:bravo:
Keep up the good work.

This Cuda build will make for some great memories.

Glad you are enjoying this great hobby or might I say addiction :2thumbs:

Well I never would have gotton half of this done with out the help of the 340 bros! Thanks guys!
Mixed results, a few spots of checking, mucho drips & runs, my excuse is it was getting dark when we shot the clear! (not that I just plain hate workin with clear!:toot: )
Anyway here she is, tomorrow I'll shoot some pics in the daylight with a clear tent, then another coat or two of clear!

Well maybe for a ride, one seat, not much else for an interior, all I need is to get the lights & wipers workin & it should be almost street legal:shifty:
Need an inflow of the green stuff to get the interior done! Rich.

It's getting there![smilie=:::cool: A lot faster than mine anyway...:shifty:

You need any interior parts or just have to clean up what you got? I've still got that parts car in PA if anything off it will help...

BTW, Do you have an extra T-handle Slap Stick setup lying around? I really just need a handle and the black plastic plate with the oval hole that goes inside the chrome base plate. If you have any you're willing to part with, shoot me a PM with what you want for it and we'll work something out.:bravo:

No handle , I have one shifter mechinism & maybe the plastic with the oval hole, I'll have to dig around to see where I put it.
interior I need the material things, carpet, seat covers, head liner. Maybe a console. I think I have the hardware covered, could use the shoulder belts mine are faded, didn't ty dying them yet. Rich.

Am inspection, no mirical layout of the clear, lots a chit & a few buggers in the paint, gonna sand the big uns out & move the intake fan & try again on the clear!:(
From 10 feet she looks pretty good!
still shaded back there I shoot another pic this afternoon when the tent lights up!

bugs seem to love the smell of clear coat!! drove us nuts with the Chally. Good luck with the rest of it. :)

My carpet is a non stock grey color and I need it for the R/T/A. Seat covers and headliner I never looked at replacing since mine are shot and I'm going the custom route anyway. I only have the one console right now. The parts car didn't have one of those.

However, I don't plan on reusing my original gold (I think?) seat belts in the Chally. It's getting some grey or silver 5 point harnesses instead. If you want I can take a look and see what condition my original belts are in. The parts car may have a set as well but I'd have to ask Mark to check for me.

So what do ya want for the shifter and plastic plate?:helpme:

Nice work! I'm still keeping a driveway spot open for when you want to drop it off :)

GO, the plate is yours if I can lay my hands on it, the shifter I'll have to soat in paint remover for a week or so(another por 51 incident) & see if I can free it up, going a little nuts with this hot weather , the car & the kids baseball, give me a week or two to see what I can come up with.

Had a short day today, sanded out some of the crap & shot the roof , trunk lid,top of the quarters & rear valence. Just the exhaust fan running,a lot less dirt, but i ran the rear valence which was nice on the first coat, this clear is tough to work with, took the ends off the tent cleaned up the mess & headed out to the little guys baseball game! Whew I'm tired!

From here this section looks done, but I missed a small spot around the black on my tape line(primer showing) & the whole bottom edge of the trunk lid overhang!

, but there is hope that with a ton a sanding & another gal of clear it will be a five footer, woo hoo!

Cool, thanks!

BTW: I looked inside the Chally and both of the upper seat belts are still in there and complete. They look like they probably hardly ever got used. Both of the belt's hold up clips are still there on each side as well. I'll pull them down tomorrow and take a better look at them and snap some pics for you.
