Just kiddin, I won't have anything ready to put on,I'll be wet sandin for a few more weekends, did a couple of hours on the hood & went inside & got the middle rear filler ready to test the paint I bought, looks ok to me, almost like the argent wheel paint :huh: as far as I can tell there just gray anyway. Rich.

Shot some color too, bottom of hood, clear goes on after dinner, wish me luck, thats the part that always kills me!

Clear be on, after pickin bout 20 bugs outta the first coat second coat went ok, maybe emerson is runnin outta bugs! One big run in the center but it's where the hood pad goes! Yea! :giggedy:

Started to put the tail lights in & had to clean up the nasty mess in the trunk before I could, well of course that mushroomed into washing the crud off both heaps, amazing how disgusting they get just sittin there! Well that about shot my load, forced myself to stay out in the heat to at least get the tail lights in & the middle bumper filler on, well lets just say the tail lights are in:dgt: Rich.

So after a long & heated discussion with Mr Murphy it seems I must have a 72 tail panel, no holes for the bumper filler, so I decide to see how my painted barracuda emblem looks, yea right, :dgt:emblem has 3 pegs, panel has 2 holes, so I taped on the 'Cuda emblem for effect! :shifty: Rich.

K all bumper fillers paintd & rears are on, had to make new holes for the left side end piece, used a set I picked up, mine shrunk a lot, but the center is orig, that was a tad longer than the new set, go figgure!
so I go to start the car, big spark at the pos term on the battery & then NOTHING from the key, played with the shifter, put it in neutral, still nothin?
Start it with the jumper button at the starter relay & then later decided to try again from the key, worked twice in a row just fine, this car is gettin spooky!
Gettin a bit frustrated, lots of car time & nothing getting done!:wtf: :huh: Rich.

Hows the bulkhead connector look? They're prone to corrosion on the wires going to the amp gauge. Lot's of electrical fires start either there or on the back of those amp gauges.

BTW: My rally gauges are out now...:toot:

'Cuda's future home got a face lift & the garage door moved over to clear my sheet metal benches, can get in now, but no room to work in there (yet) :giggedy:

Got the rear valence on & test fitted the crappy bumper, thinkin of painting it same as the filler , too much car color if I go that route? :huh:

& finally I started closing in the "Booth" bought a 40x20 tarp, should have been perfect, but the 20 foot side came up short(guess thats what they mean by cut size???????????????) but it's only bout 18'6" so the ends will be that much tougher to close up!:doubt:
