It looks better inside & underneath now than the outside, hood in primer, one side & top clear roughed for next coat, chips everywhere, but soon it should be on its wheels, I'll shoot a few "larger view" pics before the winter shut down! Rich.

Got some more stuff in today, fuel lines are in & hooked up in the rear, picked up the radiator hoses so I'm close, gotta figure out the trans lines & suplemental cooler , but the headers must go in to do the front fuel lines!

& finally for today I put on the nice new inspection cover & starter, starter wires are just on loose, might have to co=me out (with the starter? ) for the headers!:huh: Rich.

OK, got the headers in toiday I TEALLY should have remembered to lay these in when we did the motor, removed the pass eng mt bolt & jacked it as high as it would go, barlewy wedged it in![smilie=i:

Drivers side I dropped the steering link & starter I test fitted yesterday, this side slid up from the bottom, luckily cause with the steering in it wasn't gojing in from the top!:toot:

Press tested the trans cooler on the rad, held 50 lbs, so I got that painted up!

Fuel pump painted up, gotta locate new fittings, way too big for 5/16ths hose!

Well after a late start, the trip to the parts store , wonderful old guy, but talked for 10 min between each parts search, picked up lunch on the way back, it had to be 2pm before we got to work, that said, we (Greg340 is the other half a that, thanks again) got the dash in, laid out the "new" eng harness & finished the fuel line to pump!

today I got the tranny lines in, short one flair fitting at the rad, glad I got the headers & starter in first, they aren't comming out the same way! Also spliced in the 5 main wires that were cut, got a few smaller ones to trace out but its comming along.
Going a lot slower than I thought at this point, hopefully the other parts will be in tomorrow & I can put the new coil & carb gaskets on & continue the wire up :wtf: Rich.

Got some more parts in, but as I went to do one thing it led to 3 or 4 others, anyway, speedo cable, washer foot pump are in, heater & vent cables hooked up, throttle cable is in, then i moved outside, put in the distributor & got the carb on, fuel line finished, vapor line close to where the canister will some day be!
Made up my own clamps for the fuel filter & vapor line. fuel ok, vapor I gotta come up with somethin better![smilie=f:

Now plug wires, either I did something wrong or they were way off to begin with, but the car did run!
So i brought #1 up to comp, pointed the rotor at 1 & put the cap on( all wires were never removed from the cap) lengths were way off, #1 ended up as the shortest wire, also had to move 4 wires to different posts on the cap, redid the right bamk to better use the lengths I had, left the left bank, need new wires anyway so I'll go nuts after I'm sure it's right, but this is how they ended up matching to the #s on the diagram:huh:

Well I hope I didn't forget too much on the bottom cause she's ON THE GROUND!:giggedy:
Glad I didn't try to allign anything , cause it all moved ............. ALOT ........... doors dropped, hood got real stiff (on the hinges?) when you start to close it.
Gotta put a little more tension on the T bars & then hopesully it will be close to how it will eventually sit!:doubt:

Almost looks like a car! :naughty: I'm supprised there was still enough air in the tires to hold her up.
so we got the good side(didn't sand it yet) & the bad side, roughed up for more clear!
