We've had them on the Portal page for quite a while now, but we've just added a section at the bottom of the main forums page called "Upcoming Events for the Next 5 Day(s)"
In that section, you'll see a link to More news from the 'nuthouse which we can use to track stuff happening here. We haven't opened that up yet, so it's blank and will be blank until we figure out what to use it for.. :shifty:
Under that, you'll see RSS news feeds from Allpar, Automobile Magazine, Hot Rod Magazine and MOPAR Muscle Magazine. They get sorted alphabetically.
Clicking on the link will bring up a nice page of news summaries. If you click on an article, you'll go to the source. I'm working on a way to get the articles to show up in a frame within our board so that you don't actually have to leave the site or have another window open and such.
If there are any good RSS feeds that you think will be a good addition to the site, let me know about them.
I'm going to keep it to just a few for now, because the layout of that section is vertical - items line up one under another. If I can get some columns sorted and have, say 2 or 3 feeds across, then I can get more feeds on the page without making it stupid long.

P.S. There is a way tp have news stories automatically entered in as a thread in a forum. I'll work with that for a bit before I set it up. If that goes well, we'll be able to read the articles and be able to discuss them right there. It should be a good vehicle to stimulate discussion on the political ramifications of Goldy Locks and the Three Bears... or some car shtuff.
