Nasser Al-Attiyah was the first driver to reach Baradero, the finish line of the 2015 Dakar, near Buenos Aires in Argentina.

"I'm delighted I've won the Dakar!" said the 2015 and 2011 Dakar winner.

"I remember that the finish was also in Baradero in 2011, so it's a really special moment for me. It's fantastic because we've dominated the race from the beginning and were able to control the rally throughout."

Al-Attiyah won five stages in total, and led from the second stage, beating South African Giniel de Villiers by over 35 minutes, and Pole Krzysztof Holowczyc by some 92 minutes.
