Hello Guys and Gals, I am now here and the party can finally start. Thanks to RockAuto for showing me there is another Mopar Forum out there.
A little about me, my love for Mopars comes from my Dad. As long as I can remember, there has always been a Dodge in the family, mostly pickups. From the D100 with 3 on the tree to the D50 to the van. So when it came to my first car purchase naturally I chose from the Dodge family. It was a 1994 Plymouth Sundance Duster with a 5 speed. It was purchased in the summer of 1996 while I was in the Navy. It lasted me almost through my Navy career. I sold her to another Navy member shortly after I purchased my first sports car. Since the Duster, I have been owned a Durango, 2 Neons, a SRT-4 and presently a 2006 Dodge Stratus. I know none of these have the pedigree of a classic Mopar, but I consider them modern Mopars. I do some very light drag racing at the track, I have the Stratus running constant 16s at the track but am always wanting to go faster. I try to do all my own repairs, but know when something is over my head and when to bring in outside help. Chilton's and Google are your friend. I don't know it all nor do I claim to. I love talking Mopar with anyone and I do have much respect for the Bow Tie and the Blue Oval. I believe that competition between the brands make them all better and will not put someone down for their love of another brand either import or domestic. Car guys are car guys no matter the brand. Now I will get off my soapbox and say I am looking forward to having fun in the forums and hope to be able to help out where I can. Long live Mopar and get out there and make your car or truck better and have fun doing it.
