Moparnuts Toolbar question

Hey DCF,

Is there an update for the toolbar so that it will work with the new Windows Hotmail Live in the Moparnuts Toolbar Mail button thingy? I had no problems with it recognising the regular Hotmail and Yahoo accounts before switching over to Hotmail Live. Now only the Yahoo account shows up. When I go into the mail account settings and test it, the thing tells me that its getting a good connection with my Hotmail account. I have to go into my hotmail through the MSN Messenger Live icon in the systray to get to my Hotmail account. I just can't click on the Mail button on the toolbar anymore (the Yahoo button still works) to bring up my Hotmail. The Mail notifier function on the toolbar also is only telling me how many new Yahoo emails I have. Not the Hotmail emails anymore.

It was all working fine before I got a invite to be added as a friend to someones MSN/Hotmail Live page. I had to upgrade (LOL!) to Hotmail Live in order to complete the acceptance procedure.







BTW: On a related note, I like most everyone here, but please stop sending me invites to join anymore online communities. Everytime I try to go along with the crowd and sign up as someones online friend or buddy, something like this happens. From now on I'm just going to keep in touch with my online friends here at Moparnuts and on the very few other forums I visit.

I just checked and had the same problem.
If you upgrade the toolbar, it should again. It did for me.

Click on the down arrow beside moparnuts - in the toolbar - and select upgrade.

If "upgrade" doesn't show up in that menu, then you likely have Auto Upgrade set. Just select refrech toolbar instead... (I think).

Unfortunately, the toolbar mail notifier thingy never detected it.

Problem solved! I just switched back to the original Hotmail version and now it registers the new emails like it did before.

I took the time to fill out the customer (dis)satisfiaction survey when I switched back over to the old Hotmail version. I doubt it will get anything fixed anytime soon, but I figured it's worth a shot anyway.
