There we were, behind the local Dodge dealership, pulling a rust-free LH fender off this super-solid but mostly-gutted 1970 'Cuda ragtop. Factory C7 white top, white gut car with hockey sticks, 383 4-speed car. I think my buddy paid $40 for that fender... anyhow, when we asked the owner of the car (whose father owned the dealership) why he wasn't gonna restore it, he said "383 cars aren't worth any money."

In '81, that was high... :D

I passed on a lot of nice iron, including a B5/black gut '70 'Cuda (BS23U0Bxxxxxx) in 1988 for $1400, because the rear valance had been cut for long shackles and the interior was ripped and filthy.
