Jamies Trucks!

Divorced Bird
Hey all, Figured I'd post pics of my Trucks that I have.

The first one is my Daily, but its down right now for a motor swap. Pretty much a plain jane '88 Dodge SWB. V6, 5 speed (upgraded to a '92-later 4500 HD trans!), PS and PB, and thats it. I dont even think it had a radio factory as it had a Mopar-logoed one. The little V6 was a tough little bird but when I broke off BOTH t-stat housing bolts I figured it was swap time. Not to mention it was just worn out, rattles every borning from the bottom end and when it was hot and wound though the gears.

I'm dropping in a '91 318 that I know ran great. Eventually I plan on going grey in the interior and adding A/C and then dropping it down and painting it, either yellow or Prowler Orange.

I've already added the upgraded mirrors and plan to go with power ones of the same type out of that same '91 thats donating the motor. Also picked up the steering wheel at a swap meet, it was from a 4wd Tilt truck, but with a little minor easy work bolted right on. Wheels are 16x8 or 8.5 Proline Alloys I bought for an '89 I had. Kept them when I traded the truck.

Anyway here are pics!

This one is known in the Project board. '86 D-150 Custom that I bought for $300. Ran and drove, had a 360 hidden under the 318 Lameburn smog crap. Motor smoked like a bonfire so I dropped in a $100 400 and 727 out of a 70s truck. Motor runs great, trans has no reverse. They are coming out as soon as I get my 440 out of the late 60s Motorhome. Plans are for it to be a race truck!

This one is my '84 Ramcharger 2wd. Picked it up out of a scrapyard for $200 and an old willys wagon that I had bupkis in. Put a carb and radiator in it along with battery terminals and a battery and it ran! 360-4v, auto, loaded. Trans is shot but thats okay. Overall its in pretty good shape, only has a bit of lower rust-out in the lower quarters and a dented front fender. The bumper while ugly is one of the nicest I've seen! Grille is the same way.

Interior isnt bad either, headliner gone being the worst and some tears in the drivers seat.

This one is an '84 that I bought from that same 'yard for $800. Unfortuantely there is some Title disputes with it, as one of the workers had bought it for the yard and I bought it from the yard itsself. The problem is is that the worker didnt get the guy that owned it to get a duplicate title, it was lost. Now he is moved away and I'm stuck with a parts truck basically unless we can find the guy.

Anyway its an '84 Royal SE longbed, 360-4v, runs like a striped ape. Its in pretty good shape other than being crunched in the drivers fender. I've torn it apart but havent got it back together because of the title thing. Right now I use it around the yard, makes a dang good yard truck.
